The Electrical Technician Box Shop will be responsible for requesting parts and supplies from the electrical parts storage for unit assembly. The ideal candidate must be able to perform basic wiring from electrical device to control panel on units. Our client is a multinational, Fortune 500 corporation located in the Anderson area.
Classification: Non-exempt
Essential Responsibilities:
Read, interpret and follow assembly drawings, diagrams and schematics to determine electrical wiring sequence.
Interact with other departments for problem solving with the assembly process.
Identify cables and wires (i.e. molded cables, raw cables, connectors, parts, and how they are assembled).
Solder and assemble cables as needed. Interact with other departments for problem solving with the assembly process.
Understand how to use all the tools on tool list.
Learn to master all aspects of job.
Perform testing on a variety of units upon completion.
Ensure all work performed is in a quality minded, tidy & accurate manner.
Adhere to all Company policies
Follow all quality, health, safety, and environmental programs
Attend work per work schedule
Possess all tools required for the position within 90 days of employment
Perform other duties as assigned
