Position Summary:
We are seeking an Account Manager to play a significant role in deepening and broadening relationships with our vendors and other outside partners. You will be responsible for new client contracts and subsequent client communication. You will also ensure efficient operations and build strong, mutually beneficial relationships.
Classification:
Non-exempt
Essential Responsibilities:
• Receiving pertinent information for a new client contract
• Take a proactive approach and anticipate any problems or concerns on the account
• Update the Leadership Team on performance of account
• Actively build account by building rapport with key decision makers
• Communicating with client to ensure that our relationship is strong and stable
• Building a trusted advisor relationship by discussing future needs of client
• Sending relevant industry news to client
• Actively skill marketing candidates when there are not current openings
Skills/Knowledge:
• Understanding of direct marketing process flow
• Ability to identify needs and gaps and formulate solutions
• Outstanding initiative and project management skills
• Resourceful- Finds alternative solutions when necessary
• Thinks relatively, works independently, handles multiple, concurrent assignments effectively and makes timely decisions
• Approaches issues and problems through teamwork and collaborative efforts
• Able to work effectively on a team composed of people with diverse backgrounds
• Superior written and oral business communication skills
• Able to clearly and concisely explain results of complex issues to non-technical decision-makers
