Position Summary:
This is a full-time position. Business hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm and Saturdays from 8 am to 5 pm. If scheduled to work on Saturday, you would be off a day during that week. Answer inbound/outbound calls for new customers, win-back customers, and non-payment accounts to onboard customers. Actively support a positive team environment that is conducive to the efficient and effective servicing of of the energy company's customers.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Inbound/Outbound sales and marketing campaigns
• Support and provide superior customer service via phone, email, and fax
• Utilize questioning and listening skills that support effective telephone communication
• Apply the elements of building rapport with different types of customers over the phone
• Understand the impact of attitude in handling calls in a professional manner
• Identify voice skills and how to enhance a good telephone conversation
• Take ownership and offer problem resolution
• Effectively deal with stress, angry callers, and upset customers
• Resolve problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; and escalating unresolved problems
• Meet commitments to our customers
• Display time flexibility towards shifts as per call center coverage requirements; and
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
Skills/Knowledge:
• Bilingual preferred
• Ability to multi-task
• Demonstrate a “customer first” attitude
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
