Experience:
• Experience in configuration and tuning of SQL Server in a Microsoft environment
• Five plus years of progressive experience in database technologies and development
• Experience with tools and languages such as SSIS, SSMS, SQL, Python, R and PowerShell
• Experience in data architecture concepts, data modeling and data normalization
• Experience in data management, data quality concepts and services
• Experience with various file formats and ETL concepts, tools and processes
• Experience in financial services or solar industries is a plus

Position Summary:
Our growing client is seeking a Data Warehouse Architect with a passion for the technology industry. Reporting directly to the Data Analytics Manager, in this role you will manage the architecture, development, and maintenance of daily data warehouse operations. Including overall data architecture and oversee the appropriate policy, retention, ETL and documentation. For now, the position is 100% remote with an undetermined timeframe for a return to the office. The opportunity qualifies for full employee benefits and the company’s bonus plan.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Overall management of the SQL Server environment, including SQL Server configuration and tuning
• Developing overall data architecture and models
• Supporting daily maintenance of processes and interfaces
• Developing standard business reports using commercial reporting tools like PowerBI
• Supporting query development for custom reporting requirements
• Providing input and guidance on overall business data storage and archiving solutions
• Supporting structured wind down of legacy data platforms
• Coordinating with 3rd party managed IT service providers on various issues

Skills and Knowledge:
• Advanced knowledge of Google platforms: Gmail, Sheets, Docs, etc.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SSRS, SSAS, PowerBI and AWS
• Participate and facilitate in all phases of project management including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing and deployment
• Outstanding organizational, analytical, facilitation, and communication skills
