How to be Prepared for Your Riverway Interview

Being at the front desk, I see everyone's first impressions when they walk into our office. First impressions can make or break your opportunity so here are 10 tips I've come up with to make sure that you are the best candidate for the position!

  • Rule number one: No matter how your day starts, always have a positive attitude.

  • Please always dress to impress - casual clothing should never be an option for your interview.

  • Best pointer I can give you: Always follow instructions - listening skills are key when it comes to being given instructions prior to your interview.

  • Any tests that are required by your recruiter prior to your interview should be completed. If having technical issues completing your skills tests, always inform the recruiter who contacted you.

  • When walking into the building, please turn your cell phone off and also get rid of any gum; nothing's more distracting then smacking gum in the middle of an interview or hearing the buzzing sound from your phone.

  • Never bring anyone else in the office with you whether it’s a friend , partner, or your children.

  • It is important that you never walk in to our office without an interview scheduled; always make sure you have an email confirmation for your interview. Due to our recruiters being on an extremely tight schedule, there is no opportunity to squeeze in a walk-in without an appointment.

  • Always be on time for you will be judged on your punctuality.

  • Identification is a must-have for those that we place, so please have your forms of ID with you when you come in for your interview because in order to work for Riverway, we must verify your eligibility for employment in the United States.

  • Last but not least, make sure you bring your resume with you to your interview and that you send a copy of it in Word format, as instructed, before walking into our office so that everyone is prepared for your interview with Riverway.

I hope you took notes for I am the smiling face that greets you when you arrive and I want to make sure that you succeed and get the right opportunity in finding the best job for you!
